[ILLUMINATED MANUSCRIPT HOURS - BRUGES]. Book of hours for the use of Paris (circa 1450/1455) in one in-8° volume, brown velvet. Handwritten hours on illuminated vellum, decorated with eleven large miniatures attributed to the MASTERS WITH GOLDEN RINCALS (BRUGES, FLANDERS): - Crucifixion ; - Pentecost ; - Virgin and Child ; - Annunciation ; - Nativity ; - Annunciation to the Shepherds ; - Adoration of the Magi ; - Presentation in the Temple ; - Judgement of Solomon ; - Flight into Egypt; - Last Judgement. The pages of the calendar were used as a reason book at the end of the fifteenth century. Two (or three) large miniatures are missing. The manuscript can be viewed at the Cabinet Revel, 57 rue de Verneuil 75007 Paris, (01 42 22 17 13), by appointment.
