HITTITE STONE SEAL WITH ANIMAL PROCESSION
Ca. 1500 BC. A black stone seal engraved with a procession of two horned animals walking left, both depicted with elongated limbs and curved, deeply incised horns extending backwards over their bodies. A stylised branch motif runs horizontally above the animals. The seal has a flat, nearly square base and sloping upper sides that rise to a central ridge.
