Das identische Werk ist abgebildet in: Stanislav Libenský - Jaroslava Brychtová, The Corning Museum of Glass, Corning, New York, 1994, S. 100 f. This monumental glass window (vitrage) was the original furnishing for the interior of the entrance hall of the Jablonex glass and jewellery export company in Jablonec nad Nisou. It was installed in 1961-1962 when the building was completed. ''Fire and Glass I and II'' are examples of the first glass-concrete vitrages that this duo created.
The uniqueness of this work does not lie ''merely'' in its artistic value and monumentality, but also that this is the only piece of its type created. No copy has been made - everything was created specifically for this work, only once, and it all creates a magnificent whole which has no equivalent. The identical work published in: Stanislav Libenský - Jaroslava Brychtová, The Corning Museum of Glass, Corning, New York, München - New York, 1994, pp. 100-101. - For an early version of this subject see: H. Model for the monumental, nearly 4 meter high stained glass window shown at the great exhibition of Czech glass in the Moscow Manege in 1959.
