Trapezoidal silver handle tapering to the blade bolster, engraved with figurative biblical scenes. One side at the bottom with winged angel heads, above a depiction of a saint inscribed S. IAN XX, above a mythical creature and in the upper image a battle scene from the life of Judith, inscribed IUDITH XIII, ending with scrolls and a medallion, depicting a pastoral scene, above another mythical creature. Other side at the bottom with angel's head, above a scene from the life of St Matthew, inscribed MATTH XV, above a mythical creature, in the upper picture a scene from the life of Judith inscribed IUDITH XIII, above two rodents, in the finial an annunciation scene. The top of the handle inscribed IUDITH. WILLOCQVE AV. LE 21 APURIL a° 1606. The underside of the grip inscribed ATOUT CUEUR QUI VA SON DIEU AMYAT. The end of the grip with four slightly open perforations. Baluster attachment. The back of the pointed blade engraved with a putto, foliate scrolls and inscribed PARENTI (?) with remnants of gilding. The other side of the blade engraved with a coat of arms, foliate scrolls and inscribed ISEPPO. L 26 cm. Slightly rubbed. Oxidised and slightly corroded. Blade slightly abraded.
