Greek edition of the Iliad and Odyssey from the presses of Johann Herwagen, whose mark is printed on the title and last leaf of each volume.
An elegant copy bound in stamped saddle-skin, complete with clasps.
Copy of Adolphus Van Voorst (1597-1663), Dutch physician and botanist who was director of the botanical garden of Leiden and rector of the university of that city, with handwritten bookplate on the title. The handwritten corrections left in The Odyssey are said to be in his hand.
