Gr. in-folio (51,6 x 41 cm), half emerald chagrin, green percaline boards framed with a double cold fillet, large gilt and crowned coat of arms of the city of Paris with the motto "Fluctuat nec mergitur", stamped on the first board, spine ribbed with gilt title (Period binding). Work partially mounted on tabs. Photo-reportage of imperial festivities. Edition decorated with 12 photographic reproductions printed on albumen paper by Richebourg, including 3 frontispieces and 9 views of the festivities. As well as a report on the festivities, the work includes the minutes of the municipal deliberations required for the preparations. Limited edition of 102 copies, including 2 reserved for the Empress and the Bibliothèque de la Ville de Paris. A fine copy in a binding embossed with the coat of arms of the city of Paris and its motto, "Fluctuat nec mergitur". Binding a little rubbed, small restorations, splits at the hinges, dull corners and small tears. Some foxing. Provenance - Prince imperial (wet stamp "L.
