IBAN DAYAK MELANAU, Sarawak, Borneo, Indonesia. Protective figure made from deer antler, carved by a Dayak healer to ward off evil spirits. The standing figure wears a very large headdress and holds a child against him. Height: 10 cm. Provenance: Collected in situ in 1970 by Jacques Cortecero on the River Baram.
