This important "Hampatong" figure, also known as the "Polici", usually has arms made from attachments, palms facing upwards, which have now disappeared. Used in rice fields, forests and along rivers to ensure a good harvest, good fishing or for sacrifices to the goddess Jata and the Santiang to promote fertility. Beautiful, ancient erosion of wood tinted dark grey, white and dark brown with lichen.
