The first text, by an unknown author, is about Henry IV of France, whose courage and greatness of spirit he praises and whose physical description he also gives 'short in stature but great and courageous in spirit'. Following this, the author also writes about the figure of Marie de' Medici, Rischelieu and Louis XIII, and then goes on to write more about Louis XIV. In the second part, entitled the 'Ristretto della Regalia', the manuscript would be a text ordered to the author by the Most Eminent N.N.. The text deals with the regalia, its meaning and what it assumes in ecclesiastical law as the King's right over a vacant bishopric. At its end, the volume deals with the figure of Cardinal Mazarin and also reports the harangue of Mr. Salon, the king's Advocate General, in the year 1688. The manuscript is in a good state of preservation, a few detached pages although present at its completion, a few browned sheets, coeval parchment cover. It was written in the second half of the 18th century
