Very old deer antler betel grinder handle depicting a "Barong", an evil character and protector of the kampong (village), dressed in a sarong and decorated with leaves.
Early 20th century.
Height: 13 cm.
Note: The deer antler is the part of the antler of male deer.
Provenance: Collected in situ in 1975 by Jacques Cortecero.
