Ilias LALAOUNIS* (1920 - 2013) - Greece A superb brooch in 18k (750 thousandths) yellow gold by the famous Greek jeweller Ilias Lalaounis, featuring an unusual lion with a dishevelled face, a tribute to the goldsmith's knowledge of goldwork. The mane is made of finely twisted filigree, revealing round brilliant diamond eyes and a ruby cabochon muzzle.
