Opened, it presents four cut glass bottles with silver stoppers, two cut glass flasks mounted in silver, a test dish with a gadrooned rim, a miniature timbale on a small frame in plain silver with a threaded rim, a plain silver funnel, a pair of scissors, a penknife with a mother-of-pearl handle (England, 18th century), a fine silver needle case chased with large fleurons (18th century, letter T), a small oval embossed silver box (hallmark), an ear pick (Paris, 1775-1781), a miniature knife (Paris, 1750-1756), a small spice box (18th century, letter C), a small blush pot in Saint-Cloud soft paste porcelain with blue monochrome decoration signed "St C/T" in blue and mounted in silver (H. 6 cm, small crack). The interior features a mirror in the lid.
