IMPORTANT AND FINE KACHAN KORK RUG (Iran, circa 1965-1970) Ivory field decorated with scrolls of flowering palmettes surrounded by serrated leaves framing a large central poly-lobed rosette with a finely drawn wreath of flowers. Four spandrels with motifs echoing the central medallion. Seven borders, the main one cream with interlacing fine crenellated stems inlaid with floral bulbs.
