IMPORTANT PTOLEMAIC FUNERARY MASK
made entirely of plaster-coated cardboard, painted in polychrome and gilded with gold leaf. The gilded female face is crowned with the traditional tripartite headdress, topped with a scarab beetle (the god Khepri). Various deities from the Egyptian pantheon are represented on the sides. Traces of ritual tar and bitumen.
