An important silver tea and coffee service comprising a teapot, a coffee pot, a sugar bowl with removable lid and vermeiled interior, a milk jug with vermeiled interior and a kettle on its stand with its baluster-shaped stove decorated with waves, scalloped twisted gadroons encircled by amatized channels, as a reminder under the pedestals and on the lids, with bayonet lock and embossed seaweed motifs, dolphin-shaped grip, scrolled handle with dolphin head attachments, kettle with two opposing spouts and double tilt, mobile handle, openwork cast silver base decorated with dolphin heads and alternating foliage and rocaille, scrolled feet linked by plain silver stove supports.
