Dial signed Schmit à Paris (Schmit - rue Martin circa 1800-1810) Early 19th century 52 x 68 x 16 cm This clock has been called the "Maréchaux" clock because Napoleon gave a clock of this model to each of the marshals. Identical model in the Palais de l'Elysée, Château de Versailles, Albert Museum London and Hermitage Museum.
