Rhinoceros leather shields, each with four steel bosses and traces of red and black lacquer. One of the shields is decorated with concentric circles in the centre, while the other is decorated with four epigraphic cartouches.

Provenance: former collection of J. Naus, customs inspector in Iran in the early 20th century
