The fields have been lightly brushed. A golden patina covers this spectacular and very rare module. Superb at Fleur de coin. Only about fifteen examples of this enigmatic type are known. According to William Barrett of the Brunei Historical Center, these pieces were made for display, probably by a local potentate.
