INDUS VALLEY PAINTED TERRACOTTA VESSEL WITH IBEX AND STANDARD
Ca. 2200 - 1700 BC.
A terracotta vessel with a waisted body and slightly flared rim, decorated in black and red slip. One side displays a long-horned ibex with curving horns. The opposite side bears a stylised standard with branching elements framed by undulating lines. Multiple bands encircle the base and rim.
