INDUS VALLEY TERRACOTTA CARINATED BOWL WITH ANIMALS Ca. 2200 - 1700 BC. A terracotta bowl with carinated profile, slightly flaring rim, and tapering base, decorated in black slip on a reddish surface. The main register depicts a frieze of stylised quadrupeds with elongated bodies, round eyes, and patterned hides, framed by chevron lines. Horizontal bands encircle the base and rim.
