INDUS VALLEY TERRACOTTA PAINTED DISH WITH BIRDS
Ca. 3200 - 2800 BC.
A flat terracotta dish with a raised, rounded edge. The central field enclosed by linear bands is decorated with four birds arranged in a vertical line, followed by vegetal branches. A border of dotted circles surrounds the scene, enclosed by a band of hatched semicircles.
