INDUS VALLEY WHITE STONE STAMP SEAL WITH BISON AND SYMBOLS, WITH ORIGINAL REPORT BY PROF. LAMBERT Ca. 2300 BC. A nearly square plaque stamp seal of white stone with a one-piece suspension loop on the back. The front is engraved with a standing “bison” with its head raised, and cultic utensils or symbols situated beneath the head. A row of script symbols runs across the upper register. There is some encrustation on the surface, which could be removed.
