INK STAND Renaissance, Venice, 17th century. Circle of Niccolò Roccatagliata. Dark brown/black patinated and chased bronze. A gadrooned inkwell supported by three lion chimeras, each with a head opening, and a gadrooned lid with a mounted angel of victory. Ø with legs 14.5 cm, H 22 cm. The bronze rubbed and with scratches and with verdigris on the inside. The angel with a missing finger on the left hand and a missing right forearm. The mounts of the lions partly loose. Attachment of the top figure repaired. Godroniertes Tintengefäss, das von drei Löwenchimären mit jeweils einer Kopföffnung gestützt wird und einem godronierten Deckel mit montiertem Aufsatz-Siegesengel. Ø mit Beinen 14,5 cm, H 22 cm. Bronze berieben sowie mit Kratzern und Grünspan auf Innenseiten. Der Engel mit fehlendem Finger an der linken Hand und fehlendem rechten Unterarm. Die Montierungen der Löwen teils lose.
