One of the sermons, the last on the Passion, has three responses printed in English. The first reads as follows: Xps bloode clensyth and kepzypth manys sowle fro(m) dedely synne. This is followed by two more sentences in English. This sermon was obviously preached in England, as the first paragraph contains an allusion to Oxford and Cambridge. London and Nottingham are mentioned in two other sermons. - Old renewed endpapers. Title page verso with cancellation stamps of the Königliche Bibliothek zu Berlin and the Kaiser-Wilhelm-Bibliothek in Posen. Very occasional contemporary marginalia. Marginalia. Worming throughout with minimal loss of letters. Last 20 vols. with somewhat heavier worming and some loss of letters. Last few leaves somewhat stained and partly with slight marginal wear. 1 leaf with restored marginal tear. Overall a very well-preserved copy of this rare manuscript.
