One of the sermons, the last on the Passion, has three responses printed in English. The first reads as follows: Xps bloode clensyth and kepzypth manys sowle fro(m) dedely synne. This is followed by two more sentences in English. This sermon was obviously preached in England, as the first paragraph contains an allusion to Oxford and Cambridge. London and Nottingham are mentioned in two other sermons. - Old renewed endpapers.
