INRO WITH FOUR DRAWERS IN BLACK LACQUERED WOOD AND GOLD, JAPAN, EDO PERIOD (1615-1868), XIX CENTURY, SIGNED SEKIKAWA KATSUNOBU The rounded rectangular inro lacquered in gold takamaki-e depicting front and back two farmers at work, an ovoid metal Ojime with relief decoration, the ivory Manju depicting a relief decoration of three bats and the metal script Long Life and on the other side a metal bat flying over trees. The interior and risers gold nashiji, with the original ribbon.
