Shield
A shield (sipar or separ) in steel damascened with gold and silver, with four bosses, featuring a central field engraved with interlaced foliage. The borders are decorated with epigraphs and a floral frieze. A large cartouche in the centre reads "Sultan, son of Sultan Shah Abbas".
