IRAN, CIRCA 1904-1905. Album of photographs This album contains fifty travel photographs by Joseph Naus, probably taken by himself during his journey from Constantinople to Persia. The photographs are housed in a papier-mâché album decorated with floral motifs. Size: 31 x 21 cm (album) - 16.5 x 11.5 cm (photographs). A few paint chips are visible on the cover. Provenance: former collection of J. Naus, customs inspector in Iran in the early 20th century.
