ITALY - 17th century A "Stippo" cabinet with two moulded walnut bodies richly carved with gules lions, foliage, scrolls, acanthus leaves and post friezes. It stands on four leonine legs and opens with three drawers at the bottom and nine drawers and two panels at the top. The handles are finely carved with lion's mouth motifs and the pediment is decorated with scrolls. Probably from the Genoa region. Height Height: 162.5 cm Width: 89 cm. Depth : 45 cm.
