IZNIK POTTERY DISH
Turkey, Ottoman Empire, late 16th century.
Painted in Bolus-red engobe, blue, and green. With carnations and tulips rising above tall grass. The lip with a stylized “breaking waves” border in black and green. The reverse side features stylized leaf motifs.
Ø 31 cm.
Restored.
