Painted in bole-red engobe, blue, green and black with a central rosette and a surrounding border of intersecting circles on a background of black scrollwork, “breaking waves” border in black, green and blue. The back decorated with stylized rosettes in blue and green. Foot ring pierced for mounting. Ø 26 cm. Provenance: Private collection, Geneva, since the 1960s/70s. Small hairline cracks at the edge. Bemalt in Bolus-Rot engobiert, Blau, Grün und Schwarz mit einer zentralen Rosette und einer umlaufende Bordüre aus sich überschneidenden Kreisen auf einem Hintergrund von schwarzem Rolldekor, „breaking waves” Bordüre in Schwarz, Grün und Blau.
