He describes himself as a "citizen of the world" and a "happy idiot". Jaber's work is characterised by bright colours and joyful expressiveness. He uses a variety of materials including gouache, acrylic, plaster and papier-mâché. His subjects include animals, street scenes and human figures. Jaber has exhibited in many countries and his work can be found in the Musée de l'Art Brut in Lausanne and the Lille Métropole Musée d'Art Moderne, d'Art Contemporain et d'Art Brut.
