Folds, chips and tears mainly on the edges and corners. Stains.

Note: A student of Fernand Léger and Amédée Ozenfant at the Académie Moderne, he joined the Bauhaus school in 1931 to follow the teachings of Kandinsky. In 1949, he had his first solo exhibition in Paris. Represented by the Galerie Maeght from 1951, he regularly exhibited his work alongside Hans Hartung, Fautrier and Georges Mathieu. Some of his works are in the Oslo Museum, the Beaux-Arts de Lille, the Centre Georges Pompidou and the Musée d'Art Moderne de la Ville de Paris.
