JACQUES II LAUDIN (1663-1729) Two polychrome painted enamel plaques on a deep-drawn rectangular copper plate respectively representing Christ and the Virgin Mary in grisaille within oval cartouches in oval cartouches set in frames decorated with flowering branches. Gold highlights painted. Each signed in black ink: "Laudin Emaillieur in black ink: "Laudin Emaillieur A Limoges I.L". Titled on the front SALVATOR MUNDI and MATER DEI and also monogrammed I.L. Limoges, early 18th century. Height: 9 cm - Width: 8 cm (as seen) (Minor accidents) In carved and gilded wood frames.
