Note :
Born in Nantes, Jacques Le Nantec abandoned his initial training as an architect for sculpture and thus turned away from his early productions, in the classical taste, from 1973, the date of his move to Macau with his wife.
From then on, he devoted most of his time to exploring his perception of feminine sensuality and mystery, which he translated into his mastery of polybronze (a material combining bronze shot and resin), through which he worked on curves and poses, combining eroticism and exoticism in his works, as is the case in L'Esclave (The Slave), the model from which our sculpture is modelled.
