The bodywork has been restored (photo booklet available), and the car is presented in Primrose Yellow, the colour of the period. Chromed wire wheels fitted with whitewall tyres (additional set of 4 wire wheels to be restored supplied). First registered on 1 January 1971 - Serial number 1R27571. Mileage shown on odometer: 91,958 miles (not guaranteed, five-figure odometer, very slightly subject to change - please note an inconsistency in the mileage shown on a roadworthiness test report in 2023, due to an acknowledged typing error, rectified by the history and previous and subsequent roadworthiness tests). French collector's registration document in order. Condition and comments: This example has benefited from a body restoration (photo booklet included) in its Primrose Yellow colour in accordance with the period colour chart. The rear has a central double exhaust. The interior, preserved in its original configuration and 'as is' with traces of use, features distressed black leather upholstery, a three-spoke pierced wooden steering wheel and full instrumentation. The XK engine benefits from reliability upgrades, including an aluminium radiator, dual electric fans and a new ignition wiring harness. The boot compartment is sound. The panel alignments are consistent, with the exception of the left-hand bonnet, which is not perfectly aligned with the rest of the bodywork and will probably require adjustment. The passenger door can only be opened with the key (manual opening is faulty). Starts up smoothly and runs without a hitch during the test drive. A little play to report in the steering. The vehicle has been kept in a private collection. Technical inspection (11/08/2025): valid with the following minor defects: - Thrust tubes, struts, wishbones and suspension arms: damage to a silentblock connecting to the chassis or axle (AVG, AVD); - General condition of the chassis: modification that does not allow a part of the chassis to be inspected (L,R,R), - Exhaust pipes and silencers: damaged device without leak or risk of falling.
