Overall, about 70,000 Coupés and convertibles in the series of the Jaguar E-Type were manufactured in England in between 1961 and 1974. The Jaguar E-Types of the first production series, manufactured until 1968, were distinguished by their narrow chrome bumpers, the small cooler oval, and the glass covers of the headlights deeply recessed into the side construction. The latter were shifted more to the front in the second production series and built without cover. The characteristics of the last generation of the Jaguar E-Types, manufactured in between 1971 and 1974 and fitted with V12 engines, were the bumpers covered with rubber and the broad cooler handle in grid optic. This Jaguar E-Type V12 Cabriolet comes from an Austrian collection. Jaguar In 1922, Sir William Lyons established the ‘Swallow Sidecar Company’ and began producing by sidecars for motorcycles. In 1927 he designed a two-seater bodywork for the Austin Seven and subsequently got involved in the automotive business. In 1935 Lyons presented a new sports car series with the designation SS 100 Jaguar – the emblem ‘Jaguar’ was chosen in accordance with the sporty character of the vehicles. The BELMOT all risks insurance excludes: a) indirect and direct damages due to the normal aging process (especially rust, corrosion, oxidation) or natural wear and tear, i. e. due to a natural wear during the drive mode, on car parts which have to be replaced repeatedly during the lifetime of the vehicle; b) indirect and direct damages based on thermal problems, especially due to high temperatures, insufficient cooling while driving or overheating. The vehicle has to be paid and collected within 3 business days after the auction. The collection may be made via collection by the costumer or via collection by a transport company. A timely collection can also made via a commissioning of Auctionata to a fee-based transport (flat shipping rate). If the time period lapses without a result, the buyer has to pay storage costs in the amount of 25, - € per day.
