Largely an original edition (some of the poems had appeared in earlier booklets), the first under this title. This work made the recluse of Orthez famous.
One of 12 Hollande, the only large paper with 3 Japon.
Copy enriched with an autograph piece: the long poem entitled Prière pour qu'un animal qui souffre meure (Prayer for a suffering animal to die). With the stamp of Alfred Vallette, director of the Mercure de France.
