(Minor wear and soiling; the back cover needs refixing). Dim. 20 x 28 cm Note: Herbert G. Ponting (1870-1935) was an English photographer and film-maker, best known for his part in the Terra Nova expedition to Antarctica in 1910-1912. From 1898, however, he travelled throughout much of Asia, covering various events (the Boxer Rebellion, the Russo-Japanese War, the American-Philipino War).
