JAPAN - Seimin ju workshops, Bronze and champlevé enamel perfume burner, circa 1900, the quadrangular body resting on four small curved feet decorated with chimera heads, with polychrome enamel decoration of a dragon in clouds. The openwork cover takes the form of a seated Shishi with his brocade ball. A mark "Dai Nippon Bunsei nen Seimin ju" (大日本文政年整珉鋳) in cachet beneath the base.
