Inrô with four compartments decorated in gold, silver and polychrome takamaki-e lacquer with a pair of pheasants on a rock by a river continuing on the other side under a flowering prunus, details in kirikane, the interior in nashiji, signed "Koma Koryu saku 古滿巨柳作" and kakihan, with on the silk cord a coral bead and a carved red lacquer netsuke (tsuishu) depicting a small oval coffee table decorated on its top with a man looking at a bird in flight, and geometric motifs around.
