A large partially gilded bronze incense burner
In the form of the seated giant Benkei, one leg resting on the ground, the other with the knee raised, lifting the incense burner with both arms. He is dressed in an ample robe decorated with phoenixes and paulownias, his face looks stern, his thick eyebrows are furrowed, and his hair is done in conical locks and spirals.
The circular perfume burner resting on three feet, with a rich decoration of dragons moving among clouds on the body, the opening underlined by a frieze of Grecians. The openwork lid is decorated with petals, and the handle takes the form of a seated, roaring chimera.
