**JAPAN, Meiji Era (1868-1912), Elephant ivory and marine ivory okimono representing a peasant walking, returning from the vineyard, a little boy in his rucksack on his back, holding in one hand a bunch of grapes and in the other a basket full of grapes, on an oval base with a branch of grapes on the ground, entirely in marine ivory except for the two heads of the man and his son in elephant ivory, signed Gyokko 玉光 under the base. Minor chips and restorations, one element to be refixed. Dimensions : H. 42,7 cm- W. 15,7 cm ; Weight 4,5 kg LdM CITES declaration n° FR2606900067-K made (Elephantidae spp. species)
