JAPAN, END OF THE 19th CENTURY Porcelain dish, decorated in blue with the three friends of winter, pine, prunus and bamboo, in a central medallion, surrounded by a polychrome and gilded decoration of alternating dragon and carp reserves rising from a waterfall, separated by stylised motifs. Chenghua apocryphal mark of the Ming period on the base. D. 30 cm. (Slight wear to the gilded decoration, firing defect) Expert : Cabinet Ansas, Papillon et de Léry.
