Japan, 19th century Painted terracotta group depicting Seitaka-doji, one of Fudô Myô-ô's two acolytes, seated on a high brown rock, his skin red and his expression gruff, his eyes inlaid with glass, two marks stamped on the back, only one of which is partly legible: "Dai Nippon Kobe ???? sei 大日本神户???? 之製" (Made in Kobe, Japan). H. 42 cm Misses, chips, wear.
