Sèvres porcelain jardinière Oval-shaped, with polychrome decoration in medallions of scenes of children playing, after Philippeau, the royal blue background decorated with gold sprays and foliage. The frames are highlighted with garnet cabochons, and the rich ormolu and silvered bronze mounts feature cheetahs, snakes, women's masks, foliage and garlands.
