Jean ARY-BITTER (1883-1973) Wisdom Bronze with green patina Signed "Ary Bitter" on the terrace Bears the circular insert and the founder's mark "Susse Frs Edts Paris". Bears the stamp "SUSSE Frers / CIRE PERDUE". Bears the words "cire perdue" (lost wax); H 26 cm - W 43 cm AL Ary Bitter, a native of Marseille, entered the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris in 1902, where he studied with Ernest-Louis Barrias while working in Jules Coutan's studio. From 1910, he took part in the Salon des Artistes Français, where he won the gold medal in 1924.
