Jean-Baptiste SLOODTS (1843-?). An art nouveau vase, a unique piece in lost-wax pewter with a dark patina, embellished with two handles in the shape of a mermaid holding a lyre and a triton blowing a horn. The body is decorated with a sea dragon in low relief on one side, the other depicting a vegetated lake view. Stamped by the Compagnie des bronzes de Bruxelles. Height: 41 cm.
