An 800°/°° silver "Egoïste" service set comprising a small individual jug, a creamer and a cylindrical sugar bowl on a fluted base, with curved rosewood handles. Jean Puiforcat's Mexican goldsmith's hallmark, import title hallmark and "Sterling Jean Puiforcat made in Mexico" stamped on the reverse of each piece, as well as a number engraved on the point. Circa 1942-1945
