* Prospérie-Gabrielle de Fleury dite Périe (1849 - 1887
) married the sculptor Albert Bartholomé in 1848. When she died at the age of 36, he was persuaded by his friend Edgar Degas to create a sculpture in memory of his wife, her recumbent figure, him kissing her on the forehead, erected in front of the church of Saint-Martin de Bouillant, near Crépy-en-Valois.
