Landscape and ruins, oil on panel covered with canvas on the back. bears labels, stamp on the frame iron mark E.L INFROIT and jurande, for Etienne Louis INFROIT (1720-1774), marked Fragonard on the back, 28 x 36 cm.
Note on the frame: Étienne-Louis Infroit, carpenter and sculptor, graduated from the Académie de Saint-Luc in 1759 before becoming - in just a few years of production (1768-1774) - the most renowned manufacturer of carved frames with mounts.
